Custom Development

At EPMD, we undertake custom development projects for development of Lighting systems for medical applications. We start by understanding the clinical requirement and coming up with a product concept. With our ISO 13485 certified facility, we start refining on the product concept and take it to the point of a clinically effective, functional prototype.

With our manufacturing facility, we can also take the project from a prototype to a high quantity manufacturing as well. In the initial planning phase, we also guide our partners with the necessary product testing that the product might have to undergo at a clinical validation and verification stage and consider those while setting the design specifications of the product.

  • Lighting System Design

    With our experience of working with the latest technology in lighting and related optics, we can deliver globally competent products for our partners. Our technical director, Dr Rohan Nagare, has completed his PhD in Light and Health, and specializes in delivering solutions requiring advanced clinical applications. We have a background of developing custom projects not only for human medicine, but also for plant medicine. We specialize in delivering custom lighting solutions for places which have lighting conditions that are not in sync with the natural day / night cycle; such as warehouses, nursing stations, jobs that have nightshifts etc.


Electrosurgery

With over 30+ years of experience of delivering high performance ESU in India, we have build a deep understanding of the clinical requirement of an Indian surgeon, or a surgeon in a developing world. ESUs are a Class II medical devices and are a life saving device, thus making product safety of the utmost importance. We at Eclipse focus on delivering best in class clinical performance, without compromising on patient safety. With an acute focus on safety, we have developed proprietary cost effective ways to keep the patient safe, without compromising on clinical performance. As a pioneer in the field of Electrosurgery in India, we believe it is our duty to share our knowledge with local manufacturers in India as well as other developing and under developed countries.
