Why stakeholders care
Shared optical architecture across Celesta, Constella, and Envolite
Helps keep the sterile field intact by reducing mid-case repositioning
Clinical context
Heavy surgical light heads drift during long procedures, forcing surgeons and scrub nurses to leave the sterile field for repeated repositioning. That interrupts workflow, increases fatigue, and can leave the operative field under-illuminated at critical moments.
OptiCore-MX combines micro-optic LED arrays with a counterbalanced suspension so the light head stays where it is set. Lower mass and refined torque curves keep illuminance stable at working distance without sacrificing field size or colour quality.
How it works
Step 01
Micro-optic LED arrays shape a usable field at working distance
Step 02
Counterbalanced suspension holds the set position under load
Step 03
