Heavy surgical light heads drift during long procedures, forcing surgeons and scrub nurses to leave the sterile field for repeated repositioning. That interrupts workflow, increases fatigue, and can leave the operative field under-illuminated at critical moments.

Mechanism

OptiCore-MX combines micro-optic LED arrays with a counterbalanced suspension so the light head stays where it is set. Lower mass and refined torque curves keep illuminance stable at working distance without sacrificing field size or colour quality.
