Latency-Free Surgical Video Routing
Operating room integration combines video signals from endoscopy cameras, ultrasound screens, and anesthesia monitors to display them seamlessly across overhead medical displays. Because surgeons look at screens while operating, any video delay (latency) can disrupt hand-eye coordination. Effective integration platforms use uncompressed video matrices over fiber optics to route 4K feeds with less than 1 millisecond of delay.
