Biomedical engineering teams struggled with proprietary optical assemblies that increased downtime and unique spare SKUs across multiple theatres. Service planning was harder when each head used incompatible modules.
Our solution
Constella surgical lights with UniOptix modular optical cartridges were standardised across three main theatres, aligning service parts with Celesta-family inventory already used on campus.
Results & impact
Biomed reported fewer unique spare lines and faster lamp module swaps. Standardisation simplified preventive maintenance scheduling and reduced theatre downtime for optical service.
